Ryan STEAM Elementary School

STEMBoost officers Iona Xia (President) and Eric Ju (Director of Operations) reached out to Ryan STEAM Elementary School in East San Jose and initiated collaboration with the school to host a free after school program focused on hands-on STEM experiments. Since the fall 2022 semester, they have been visiting Ryan every week to provide fun, interactive classes to 3rd and 4th graders.

 Friends of Children with Special Needs (FCSN)

During the Summer of 2022, STEMBoost officers Iona Xia (President) and Eric Ju (Director of Operations) initiated the collaboration between STEMBoost and FCSN (Friends of Children with Special Needs). The two developed a pilot program, consisting of a series of 9 zoom classes, to a group of children with special needs to teach concepts and experiments on forensics and environmental science. With the success of the pilot program, STEMBoost will offer more activities through FCSN.
